The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) credential focuses on the ability to design and build technology solutions and proves that you have the core technical skills required to build a sustainable career in IT. It is also the prerequisite for the expert-level MCSE certifications. MCSA certification requires 2 to 3 exams and is available in the following tracks:

On September 26, 2016 Microsoft introduced new streamlined Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification paths that make it easier for you to obtain this sought after expert certification. 5 new MCSE & MCSD certification paths were introduced that closely align with industry-recognized areas of competence. To obtain MCSE certification, you only need one additional elective exam after first earning the qualifying MCSA certification. MCSE certification is available in the following 5 areas of competence:
